Meet the Doctor
Dr. David Traynor
Growing up in England, David Traynor, B.D.S. graduated from the Guy’s, Kings, and St Thomas’s Schools of Medicine and Dentistry at London University then finished his training at the University of Michigan Dental School, where he completed two years in an Advanced General Dentistry Program.
Dr. Traynor has been practicing dentistry in the Dexter area with his office, Beacon Dental, since 2008. He has experience in several styles of private practices including a fast-paced group practice, a large high-end practice, and a small family practice. He brought all his experience together to create his own business, which is a fun-family atmosphere with exceptional dental treatments.
He is a caring, careful dentist who strives for each patient to leave his office with a bigger, brighter, and more confident smile.
Family is the Key
Dr. Traynor grew up in England and relocated with his family to Michigan. In 2002, he moved to Ann Arbor to begin his career, then in 2014 moved his family to Dexter. Dr. Traynor's wife Emily, is an associate professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Michigan; their two active sons, Jack and Sam, attend Dexter schools. He loves being so connected to such a wonderful community.
